Channel 4's "Britain’s Most Expensive Houses" has featured another one of Lomax & Wood's flagship case studies. This time its Amberwood House. Lomax & Wood was selected to supply and install custom made Timber French doors & casement windows as part of the complete renovation costing more than £28m and its owner is likely to be selling it in the region of £75m.
The property has been extended with what can be considered to be the last of the ‘Mega-basement’ extensions in Knightsbridge with a 12m-deep excavation beneath Amberwood House.
These premium quality hardwood timber windows and doors were made-to-order to provide the luxurious finish required by the client. The Lomax + Wood technical team provided CAD drawings to ensure all the details were correct. This is a standard service which is offered to all customers. The Lomax + Wood products are as standard delivered to the site fully factory finished and ready to fit into the pre-prepared openings.
Finally, Lomax + Wood provided a full supply and install package for this project, acting as sole supplier and a single point of contact for the construction team.
