Airflow Developments was a key exhibitor at this year’s UK Construction Week as part of HVAC and Grand Designs Live. The leading ventilation manufacturer presented its growing portfolio of high performance and energy efficient air movement solutions – as well as sharing knowledge and expertise through a number of well-attended CPD seminars.

During HVAC, Airflow showcased a number of commercial and industrial products, including the Duplexvent Multi range, which consists of both rooftop and indoor units, using Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) to provide effective and efficient ventilation solutions. In addition, its stand featured EC industrial fans, ideal for upgrading ventilation equipment within commercial premises, whilst complying with the latest changes to the ErP regulations, as well as those due to be enforced in 2016.

At Grand Designs Live, Airflow demonstrated its latest innovations for improving air quality in the home. These included the iCONstant, which is the only IPX5 rated Decentralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (dMEV) fan on the market that can be both wall and ceiling mounted. Also gaining significant interest from attendees was Airflow’s QuietAir QT150, a low energy extraction solution with a discreet, slim profile that far exceeds the requirements of the latest Building Regulations.

Furthermore, Airflow hosted a number of seminars. During HVAC 2015, Airflow’s Commercial Specification Manager, Stephen Mulholland discussed the latest developments in MVHR technology at the event’s CPD Hub, while at Grand Designs Live; RIBA-approved CPD Seminars were hosted at the Grand Theatre – which was also sponsored by Airflow, where visitors received vital updates on UK Building Regulations related to home ventilation.

Alan Siggins, Managing Director at Airflow Developments, commented: “Airflow is pleased to have supported UK Construction Week. We regularly exhibit at Grand Designs Live, also produced by Media 10, which is always a professionally organised and well-attended event. It was an ideal exhibition to present both our comprehensive range of commercial and domestic solutions. The response from visitors has been overwhelmingly positive.”
