Hand crafted from the finest materials, all Aqata products are engineered to the highest quality standards and with an attention to detail that ensures they stand the test of time in both residential and more rigorous contract environments.
AQATA managing director, Jayne Barnes, comments, “This is an exciting venture for AQATA. The stunning new Bagno Design showroom gives us a prestigious base in central London and also opens up opportunities for new contract business, which is an area we are focusing on to diversify our business.”
Two Aqata designs feature within the hotel mock-up room on the ground floor: the Spectra SP490 and Spectra SP455. The Spectra SP490 is an inward folding, 900mm wide, bath screen which offers the ideal solution for over bath showering. Featuring slim adjustable wall profiles and precision-made polished chrome hinges, it optimises bathroom space while combining the highest standards of performance, superior quality construction and contemporary good looks.
The 1500mm high folding bath screen can be fully extended to 900mm to deflect the water and act as an effective barrier, when folded back flat it measures 500mm wide allowing easy access to the bath and, for showering.
As every Aqata product is made-to-order, bespoke requirements are a straightforward procedure, hand built by craftsmen at their centrally based factory. Glass etching is a prime example, the new Spectra SP455, 900m wide, hinged recessed door is displayed as part of the hotel mock-up room with Bagno Design London branding to demonstrate Aqata’s in house etching service.
The popular Spectra SP455 hinged recessed door is also on display as an 800mm wide model within the main showroom. Clean lines and 8mm toughened frameless glass combine to provide contemporary good looks, while clear seals and robust closing ensure watertight shower performance. Spectra SP455 is available in 3 sizes: 760mm, 800mm and 900mm. It is suitable for use in wetroom applications or with a shower tray as desired.
The Spectra SP445 is a stunning walk-in screen with fixed return panel. Available in standard sizes: 1000mm, 1100mm, 1200mm, and 1400mm with a 300mm return, and can also be supplied in bespoke sizes as displayed with the 1800mm walk in. This frameless product truly opens up space for maximum impact and provides practical showering. The SP445 can be installed onto a low-level shower tray or in a wet room application and is an efficient water barrier secured by either an integrated Linneal shower screen brace or two steady arms in polished chrome finish.
An effective way to test the character of any shower enclosure manufacturer is to try out their sliding door models and Aqata’s Spectra SP300 sliding door recess option is hard to beat. Luxuriously large contemporary sizes: 1200mm, 1400mm and 1600mm, the latter being on display in the showroom, all have a silky-smooth sliding action to provide quality that can be enjoyed with each and every use.
The sliding doors feature central clear seals, adjustable wall profiles for ease of installation and discreet positive magnetic closing to provide the ultimate in design and solid performance. With a generous 2000mm height, Aqata’s Spectra sliding doors are manufactured from 8mm toughened glass with robust corner brackets and solid door handles flawlessly finished in polished chrome.
AQATA’s unique approach to design innovation also takes account of the specific needs of installers. The Spectra collection has been engineered to use the latest advances in waterproof bonding which allows large spans of glass to be easily transported and assembled on site. Built-in adjustment for out-of-true walls also helps to ensure the products are fitter-friendly.
