Over the past 60 years, Alumasc’s External Wall Insulation systems have become commonplace on some of the most prestigious buildings in the UK, and now local building companies and homeowners are set to
benefit from a new Trade Counter, which has recently opened to the public.
Alumasc has been resident at White House Works in St Helens since 1985 and is a familiar feature with locals and regular passers-by. With its roots fixed firmly on Bold Road in Sutton, Alumasc has also played an active role in local employment and has been keen to encourage budding young tradespeople of the area to embark on a career in EWI installation.
Over the years, Alumasc has taken on 8 apprentices, training them to unrivalled standards in the
installation and maintenance of its world class Facade systems. So far, 7 of the apprentices have gone
on to enjoy full-time employment with Alumasc, working on projects nationwide, as highly respected
members of the construction sector. The most recent apprentice is still in training.
The St Helens site is also home to Alumasc’s Management and Administration functions, with every
member of staff haling from the local area.

give us the opportunity to engage with local builders and homeowners on a much more personal level
whilst encouraging the use of our products on more local building schemes.
“It also means that our expert Technical Support will be more freely available to those who need it
and we hope that this, combined with our renowned products, will make us their first choice when
sourcing EWI systems.
“We welcome enquiries from building companies large and small and from individual homeowners,
for projects of all types. We’re very much looking forward to becoming more involved with our local
