A Renaissance Package from Alumasc
Alumasc’s specialist Lightweight Render and Cast Iron Rainwater systems have been chosen for a prestigious new development in Bolton.
The Renaissance is a high quality mixed development of new and partly refurbished residential dwellings, situated only minutes from Bolton’s Victorian market hall and prime retail district, attracting a diverse range of residents and investors keen to capitalise on the new trend for City Living.
The contemporary style of the accommodation demanded a visually stunning yet robust exterior which met all the requirements of modern building standards. Working alongside their Approved Installer SLK Contractors of Castleford, West Yorkshire, Alumasc supplied 1200 square metres of Silkolitt Silicone 1.5mm render in subtle shades of green, blue and cream.
ST Silicone Renders are suitable for new building and re-modelling of existing facades. Available in rolled or dragged surface textures, colours range from the subtle to the dramatic. They combine the longevity and weathering features of render, with an aesthetic vibrancy that meets with today’s design and performance requirements, including UV stability, excellent colour consistency and fastness.
For the rainwater installation on the project, Apex Heritage Cast Iron gutters, downpipes and associated fittings in traditional designs offered the perfect solution. Manufactured to modern quality control and finishing techniques, the range is in keeping with traditional architecture and building methods whilst being fully in tune with contemporary performance requirements.
Apex Heritage Cast Iron rainwater products are available in a standard range but can also be manufactured to match or replace existing installations, making it ideal for building or restoration in architecturally sensitive period settings.
