Arnold Laver Timber World has released an easy-to-understand brochure explaining the company’s latest environmentally friendly initiatives.
The Sheffield-based company is making the question and answer brochure available to customers wanting more information on responsible timber purchasing.
All Arnold Laver Timber World branches across the United Kingdom are accredited with official trademarks to inform consumers their wood and wood-based products are from well-managed forests.
Brian Sheldon, Group Environmental and QA Manager at Arnold Laver Timber World, said: “Environmental issues such as climate change are becoming more and more of a headline topic and it is something we have been working with for a number of years.
“Timber usage is a key element within this and we wanted to explain to our customers what Arnold Laver Timber World is doing to protect the environment. Through this brochure, customers will know what the accreditations are, what this means for them and how it affects timber from all across the globe.”
