DRU Fires, the Netherlands-based manufacturer of contemporary domestic fires, is set to reveal a full selection of new products at Hearth & Home 2007, covering the whole spectrum of the fireplace industry.
Balanced flue gas fires
DRU is best known for its balanced flue models, having developed the original balanced flue system in the 1930s. This year will see the UK launch of new models such as the Metro 70, designed to fit a standard UK chimneybreast, the 1.3 metre-wide Metro 130 and the room corner-located Saxo Slimline. With other new models to be announced at the show, it promises to be a bumper year for gas fire dealers.
Hearth & Home 07 will see the first official UK launch of the DRU Electric Collection. DRU electric fires are designed to replicate the appearance of a contemporary gas fire, complete with a very realistic flame pattern that is created by a unique LED technology. The range includes 4 models in a selection of front colours, fire beds and suite options. In addition, an innovative new electric model is to be revealed at the show.
DRU continues to develop its stove range and Hearth & Home will see the launch of the Trio, a new contemporary balanced flue gas stove along with the DRU 44, a cast iron multi-fuel stove in a compact new size designed for the UK solid fuel market.
Due to popular demand, DRU has adapted many of its existing balanced flue and conventional flue gas fires and wall heaters to run on either natural gas or LPG. This year sees the launch of a new LPG brochure featuring more than 20 LPG-compliant products.
The DRU presence at Hearth & Home will encompass two separate stands in Hall C for both gas and electric products, amounting to the company’s biggest display yet at the UK’s leading fireplace trade show.
