A solar updraft tower power plant - sometimes called a ‘solar chimney’- is a large - scale renewable energy generation source for clean, green electricity.
Rudolf Bergermann, who currently researches intensively in the field of solar energy with his firm Schlaich Bergermann Solar, will discuss the technology and economical benefits of a whole range of solar power plant technologies with particular emphasis on the solar updraft tower.
The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception.
