The Building Centre Vincent Gallery will host the 2007 Civic Trust Awards exhibition from 6 June. The Civic Trust was established 50 years ago to prevent poor development in the drive for post-second world war modernisation. Its aim then, as it is today, is to raise awareness of the impact that buildings and public spaces have on our lives. The Civic Trust Awards recognise the best in the built environment, from architecture to planning, townscape to housing. This years winners include private houses and corporate headquarters, museums, colleges and a hospice.
This exhibition is free of charge and open to the public.
