The second free seminar in the Engineered Timber Forum Series will give an introduction to crosslaminated timber, or CLT, with an insight into design, specification and construction.
CLT is a fantastic engineered timber product with impressive structural properties and a low environmental impact. Construction with CLT is fast and dry, ideal for urban and infill sites. CLT buildings are also lightweight, reducing loading on subterranean infrastructure.
The seminar will include presentations from architects, engineers and contractors. There will be the opportunity to meet the speakers for project guidance and collect technical information. Several speakers are yet to be confirm, however the line up will be as follows:
