Energy Conversations: Do communities care about community power?

Government policy has partially unlocked the doors to community power but we haven’t seen a stampede to take advantage of the possibilities. What is stopping communities from exploiting new technologies to make them more self-sustaining? Policy, Regulations, Investors, Community cohesion, Costs? Community activists, policy makers and technologists will help to open the door wider and see whether we do care or whether we just want someone else to solve the energy problem.

Speakers include:
Rebecca Taylor, John Thompson & Partners
Emilia Melville, Bristol Energy Co-op
Jeff House, Application Manager at Baxi Commercial
Ben Harrison, Future of London
Chaired by Andrew Scoones, The Building Centre
