With iD Mixonomi, Tarkett have crafted a creative ‘material toolbox’ for architects and designers to enable them to use colours and shapes to create their own flooring compositions.  This versatile collection, with 33 original colours and 10 interconnecting shapes, is particularly suited to the development of unique and remarkable designs for retail or hotel interiors.

Built upon the principle of combining colours and shapes, iD Mixonomi is an intuitive tool to enable the tailoring of flooring compositions; from timeless patterns to the most vibrant collages.

Inspired by the iconic hexagon, the iD Mixonomi range features 10 compatible geometric shapes and sizes which may be combined in a multitude of layouts. A striking palette of 33 colours has been created around a central colour theme of bold trend shades, deep complementary hues and metallic highlights.

With 5 colour palettes to inspire:

Cosy Neutral colour palette is inspired by natural materials such as wood, minerals and clay. The colours are natural, calm and reassuring, with a sophisticated selection of off-whites, beiges and grey. Cosy neutrals are an especially perfect fit for neo-bistros, spa-hotels, restaurants and concept stores.

Deep Darks colour palette is inspired by noble materials such as velvet, precious stones and dark woods, for a luxurious, chic and masculine look. In this selection, you will find a refined collection of dark and intense tones of green, blue, red and khaki. Somewhat formal but not austere, Deep Darks are the perfect match for elegant interiors such as chic hotels and bars, theatres, cinemas and beauty stores.

Bold Primaries are iD Mixonomi’s dynamic, vivid and eye-catching colour palette. This range of colours is inspired by sports and signage. The collection is composed of a large selection of bright greens, blues and reds.  Both flashy and singular, stimulating and optimistic, these are the colours you want to use to create playful and daring interiors like pop-up fashion stores, sports shops, co-working spaces, hotel lounges
or trendy cafés.

Tender Pastels colour palette is a selection of soft greens, blues, pinks and yellows - all inspired by pastry, sorbets and bonbons - to create a gourmet, fresh and charming look. This delicate, feminine and cheerful selection of colours is a perfect choice for retro interiors such as cake or ice cream bars, lingerie boutiques or beauty stores.

The tasty, intense and exotic Spicy Warms colour palette is a selection of luxurious and solar yellows, oranges and browns inspired by natural ochres, spices, leathers, chocolate and terracotta. The hypnotizing colours of this palette are both chic and natural, therefore ideal for sophisticated interiors with an exotic touch, such as beauty and fashion stores, restaurants and cafés.

All of these iD Mixonomi options work seamlessly with the existing Tarkett iD Inspiration standard plank and tile shapes. To further inspire signature floor designs, Tarkett has created an online library of patterns and layouts for iD Mixonomi, along with a ‘floor configurator’ and digital visualiser at professionals.tarkett.com/idmixonomi - to help designers create dynamic pattern and colour combinations. The collection is manufactured using phthalate free technology has a number of crucial functional benefits such as extremely low VOC’s – an important contribution to improved indoor air quality.
