Vibrant Fusion Design from Tobermore Specified at Edward Peake Church of England Middle School

David Turnock Architects was assigned the task of designing the redevelopment plan at Edward Peake Church of England Middle School in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. The hard landscaping was an important element of the works in creating an attractive new exterior for the educational facility. Tobermore helped provide a solution with the provision of Fusion – a modular block paving product with a striking finish.

The refurbishment works at Edward Peake Church of England Middle School was managed by Watson & Cox Construction Ltd with B Line Civil Engineering sub-contracted to carry out the groundworks on site. Block paving was incorporated into the landscape design as a method of breaking up the pedestrian areas from the trafficked areas on site and paving also offered a more aesthetically pleasing finish.

Tobermore’s Fusion block paving in the vibrant colours of Azure Blue and Sandstone were specified for the project and integrated together to create an eye-catching laying pattern that harmonised with the colourful buildings on site. Fusion is manufactured at Tobermore’s 50 acre manufacturing facility with a granite aggregate surface layer that produces a contemporary appearance similar to natural granite.

Tobermore’s Fusion is a hugely versatile product as it is suitable for incorporation on any type of application and is available in a range of modular sizes and stunning colours that offer endless design options.
