Vapour permeable underlay installed at St Margaret’s Parish Church in Clabby

Klober Permo forte vapour permeable underlay has been used in Leighton Johnston Associates’ design of St Margaret’s Parish Church in Clabby, Fermanagh.

The product was specified for its strength, durability and excellent vapour permeability and was laid over rafters with counter battens for the natural slate roof. Previous projects involving the practice had revealed the product’s excellent waterproofing properties when it fully withstood heavy rain over a 48 hour period.

Architect, Charlie McKillop commented, “Because of the fact that this is a listed building, traditional vents were not allowed. We have specified Permo forte many times and found it to be the best performing VPM with excellent ventilation performance”.
