Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis and Club Ambassador Andy Booth yesterday visited Heckmondwike FB, sister company to Playrite – to be presented with a specially designed player’s entrance.
Playrite, a manufacturer of specialist surfaces for sports, play and leisure and Heckmondwike FB, experts in heavy contact, fibre bonded carpet and carpet tiles are both part of the National Floorcovering Group, established for over 40 years. Based in Liversedge, West Yorkshire, they are committed to innovation and producing high quality products, specific to individual requirements.
The entrance mat – which has been specially produced for the Club – will be used exclusively for the Sheffield Wednesday fixture live on Sky in January. The mat features a large image of the Huddersfield Town crest and features the wording ‘The Yorkshire Club’, as well as Playrite’s logo and website address.
Town are the only Club in League One to have a player’s entrance designed in such a unique way.
For over 40 years, the National Floorcovering Group have been manufacturing products used extensively in locations such as schools, colleges, universities, sports clubs, offices, retail outlets, garden centres, museums, leisure centres and police stations.
Jarvis is proud of the current partnership’s the Club has with locally run businesses and is delighted that the relationship with the Club and the National Floorcovering Group, who have a box at the Stadium, has grown stronger.
“We want to build the Huddersfield Town brand”, commented Jarvis, “and products such as these will help that cause massively”.
