The owners of this charming house, were extending the footprint of their property and altering its appearance, to create more space and character.
Westbury provided the doors, including a boarded oak door, oiled to keep the wood in optimum condition, and grey painted sidelights to add further character to the entrance, the windows, that were made to measure for the property, and other external joinery features on this project.
We worked alongside both the architect and end client to establish a design that suited the new contemporary style that they wished to achieve.
The continuous sightlines across the projecting box window, door and casement windows create cohesion, emphasized further by the Westbury gutter mould and fascia that spans the entrance.
At the back of the property, an oak feature window overlooks the staircase and hallway tying in with the entrance door and creating a visual flow from the front to the back of the house.
A Westbury orangery features co-ordinating windows, doors and fascia, and provides the owners with an enchanting space to entertain guests throughout the year, as well as being a functional everyday space for the family,
These new features of the house give a new lease of life to a treasured family home that can be enjoyed for years to come. The improvements don’t just add the desired additional space but also add value to the property.
All Westbury joinery is bespoke and can be adapted to fit any style of house. We work hard to provide the right product and design to make a house feel like a home.
