3 new detached houses near Crystal Palace have been designed in collaboration by MWArchitects and Solidspace. Incorporating the trademark Solidspace form, staggering floor levels of the living space, the houses are flooded with light on every level. Supplying all the exterior doors & windows to this project Olsen used several different products from their range to make sure the correct product was used in each circumstance.
With Thermo HS lift & slide doors complimenting Thermo 80 double balcony doors on the lower levels, the gardens are made accessible via the kitchen and dining area. On the central and top levels, double glazed Thermo 80 inward opening windows have been used, offering fantastic thermal parameters. The flush entrance door and side screen of windows have been manufactured with the Combi Timber range. With a range of products, colour matching could be a problem. However by using the RAL Classic palette, a uniform colour was chosen which not only compliments the buildings slate roof and floor tiles, but also contrast the pale brick work to create a distinctive, yet uniform look to buildings. The final colour chosen was the ever popular Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016). To view more on this project see Solidspaces website or MWArchitects website
