Situated in the heart of Cambridge University, as part of the New Museums Site, stands the newly refurbished David Attenborough building. Originally built in the 1960’s, the refurbishment modernised the building and re-invented it as a conservation for the Cambridge Conservation Initiative and the Museum and Department of Zoology.
Merriott manufactured and supplied 353 Radiavectors for the refurbishment, low level high performance radiators which complement the floor-to-ceiling glass panels that feature frequently throughout the building. Further to this, they provide a pleasant climate throughout the open plan interior.
Also featured on the project were 52 vertical Precision radiators. These sit nicely in the small offices, and their linear design adds a stylish feature to their surroundings.
In addition, Merriott provided bathroom radiators and horizontal Precision radiators for student accommodation in the University’s Dockett building.
