Axis Installs Seven Automatic Doors at New Trioscape Garden Centre

The Trioscape Garden Centre near Newent in Gloucestershire traces its origins back to 1994 when the partners of Trioscape Landscaping (Richard Mitchell, Douglas Wilson and Ronan Lynch) bought the site at Highleadon as a run down business with dilapidated buildings. Eighteen years of growth and development later and after the recent £1.5 million revamp, the garden centre and nurseries now cover 16 acres including 3 acres of covered growing and retailing area plus a brand new restaurant, cafe and food hall offering local and regional food.

Architectural Technologist Angela Wadley of local company Total Design Ltd wanted the new building to be as environmentally friendly as possible and it features many energy saving products. The facades are a striking combination of brick and aluminium curtain walling giving an impression of lightness and modernity founded in solid rural roots. Angela choose Axis Automatic Entrance Systems of Northampton to supply and install all the aluminium glazing and the tilt and turn windows as well as a total of 7 Stanley Dura-Glide automatic doors and a number of manual doors too. Axis is the sole UK distributors of Stanley Automatic Door Operators and in 2012 celebrated their silver jubilee of 25 years since they were established.

“I chose Axis because of their reputation for reliability, competitiveness and excellent service” said Angela, “as well as the world wide reputation of the Stanley product range. I wasn’t disappointed. They delivered on all fronts and we’re delighted with the results.”

Axis MD Rob Brunero said “Stanley Dura-Glide door operators combine state-of-the-art microprocessor technology with advanced engineering to provide the safest, most dependable and highest performance door systems in the industry - perfect for high traffic retail locations. We were delighted to work with Angela and Trioscape and, like them, think the results are stunning.”

Axis Automatic Entrance Systems always employ ADSA Authorised Technicians (Automatic Door Suppliers’ Association) for the specification, supply, installation and maintenance of automatic door operators as per the guidelines of BS7036:1996 (Code of Practice for safety at powered doors for pedestrian use).
