Press Release: Charities FM Conference at the Building Centre

Charities F.M. Conference to look at Energy Saving, Sustainable Working and new Design

The Charities Facilities Management Conference on June 10th will bring up to 100 facilities mangers, purchasing and finance managers to the Building Centre to discuss key issues such as saving energy, sustainable facilities management, design for new ways of working and risk management.

The one-day event is being held at the Upkeep Exhibition at the Building Centre in Central London. It will feature presentations on:

The conference is the third annual conference organised by Charities Facilities Management Group, the national network for people who deal with facilities management in the voluntary sector. The Group has over 200 member organisations around England, ranging from some of the U.K.'s largest charities to small community groups.

The conference is open to both members and non-members. Special charity rates are designed to help smaller charities benefit. The conference is sponsored by the BIFM and Constructive Workspace.

Charities Facilities Management Group aims to help charities manage their properties and facilities more effectively by sharing information and resources. It is run on a pro-bono basis by the charity Upkeep. For more information, contact:
