Polyflor Sport performs at Castlebrook gym

Polyflor Sport 67 multipurpose indoor sports flooring - from commercial flooring specialist Polyflor Ltd - has created a bright new look for the gymnasium at Castlebrook High School, in Bury, Lancashire.

“The appearance and performance of Polyflor Sport make it ideal for the gym, which is heavily used both by the school and on evenings and weekends by various sports clubs,” said school bursar June Kaye.

Recommended for use in school and local authority sports halls, gymnasia and leisure centres, Polyflor Sport 67 - in an attractive green colourway - was installed at the school by Stockport-based flooring contractor Bramhall Flooring. Line markings were applied by Sports Mark.

Polyflor Sport 67, and heavier gauge Polyflor Sport 80, each provide the underfoot resilience and long life demanded by such high traffic applications. Both products are suitable for a wide range of sporting activities including football, tennis, netball and basketball.

Polyflor Sport 67 is a 6.7mm gauge flooring available in 2mx18m rolls with a choice of six plain colours and a maple wood effect. Polyflor Sport 80, in 8mm gauge and 2mx15m rolls, offers three colour options – green, blue and maple. Both are available to order in non-standard lengths. Both also feature a polymer surface treatment for enhanced protection and easier on-going maintenance.

Polyflor Sport 67 and Polyflor Sport 80 can be installed over concrete, or on cradle and batten systems. Line markings can be painted on as required.
