The Main Gallery is currently housing two exhibitions, the first is Boom Room which is part of the London Festival of Architecture and features young, innovative Estonian architecture. The second is The Royal Docks exhibition by the London Development Agency, first in a series of exhibitions on the investment in infrastructure in the capitol.

19 June - 31 July 2010
Part or the London Festival of Architecture The economic boom in Estonia in the last decade has led to the creation of an unprecedented number of new architectural bureaus staffed, for the most part, by young architects. As a result, the country's young architecture is contemporary, innovative and high-quality. There will be a breakfast talk on 25 June at 8.30am.

The Royal Docks has massive development potential - the opportunity to become the new centre for business and living in East London.
The area has great advantages in terms of the success of Excel, London City Airport, the University of East London and the proximity of the O2 Centre. In 2012 the Royal Docks will be the second largest Olympic Venue. Recent investment in local rail infrastructure and the advent of Crossrail will connect the Royal docks with Canary Wharf, the West End and the rest of Lonodon.
This exhibition sets out the Mayors of London and Newham's vision for the development of the area as well as the challenges and opportunities.
This is the first in a series of exhibitions which will update on a monthly basis to show the key investments in the infrastructure and built environment in London. The Building Centre is happy to support The London Development Agency and Design for London who are helping deliver these improvements.
