Engineering Sketches is an open competition to encourage the use of drawing amongst engineers. It celebrates the sketch as a way of communicating concepts, ideas and solutions amongst the construction team.
Entries were judged by a panel consisting of Trevor Flynn of Drawing at Work, Rob Partridge of AKT II, Andrew Scoones of The Building Centre, Matthew Wells of Techniker and Jane Wernick of Jane Wernick Associates.
Five entries were commended and the winner will be announced on 12 December 2012.
Engineering Sketches forms part of the Engineering Club's cultural programme.
