The Showcase Galleries, originally conceived through a link with the Architectural Association, provide architects with an opportunity to experience new and innovative products and materials that meet the modern methods of design and construction.

This allows the professional visitor and members of the public to freely explore the diverse range of products without any commercial pressure.

Through the services of our Information Staff we also provide an authoritative and impartial information service to deal with all the Exhibitors products.

The Main Gallery embraces over 111 square metres on the ground and shows both The Building Centre and NLA exhibitions.

The highly acclaimed giant 1:1500 scale model of central London highlights all the recent and proposed planning submissions, including the Olympic Park.

The Projects Wall is an extensive display of over 200 planned and recently completed projects across the capital covering major urban regeneration to small residential interventions.

Adjoining the Main Gallery are the Bookshop Gallery and Cafe Gallery that regularly host a series of smaller exhibitions, models, building launches and displays.

Main Gallery

The Pipers 1:1500 scale model of the central area of London is the centrepiece of this acclaimed exhibition space which graphically illustrates the structure of the capital city, its form and its future.

Comprising over 1200 square feet, this gallery hosts six major exhibitions each year directed by both The Building Centre and NLA, taking on key themes to explore the built environment.

Adjoining the Main Gallery are the Bookshop Gallery and Cafe Gallery that regularly host a series of smaller exhibitions, models, building launches and displays.

Cafe Gallery

A high profile gallery on the ground floor covering over 500 square feet and immediately adjoining the main entrance and The Building Centre reception.

This gallery is curated by The Building Centre and provides a vibrant space to host smaller exhibitions, building launches, sponsored events, models and architectural displays.

Vincent Gallery

A flexible gallery on the lower ground floor, adjacent to the seminar suites, the information desk and the product galleries which benefits from a high footfall.

The Building Centre Bookshop is managed by RIBA Enterprises

It benefits from the knowledge and experience that RIBA Enterprises possess and the bookshop will compliment the RIBA's existing network of bookshops - in particular their two existing London bookshops at Portland Place (the home of the RIBA) and at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour.
