Blockleys Brick Ltd was established in 1894 and became part of the Michelmersh Group of Companies in 2000.
The Company produces a total of approximately 60 million machine-made stock facing bricks, extruded wirecut facing bricks, clay paviors, Hydrosmart™ permeable clay paviors and special shaped products per annum from its manufacturing base in Telford, Shropshire.
Products are manufactured using local Etruria Marl clay and imported shale and fireclays. Sands and stains are also applied to the faces of the bricks. These processes produce facing bricks and clay paviors in a full range of colours that exhibit total frost resistance and ‘nil’ efflorescence.
