Pipers Projects and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) are delighted to announce that, as from 4th January 2011, The Building Centre Bookshop will be managed by RIBA Enterprises.

The Building Centre Bookshop will benefit from the knowledge and experience that RIBA Enterprises possess and the bookshop will compliment the RIBA’s existing network of bookshops – in particular their two existing London bookshops at Portland Place (the home of the RIBA) and at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour.

Working with The Building Centre and NLA, RIBA Enterprises’ intention is to develop and expand the Building Centre Bookshop and re-establish it as the pre-eminent specialist bookshop focusing on construction and general built environment books and products.

This agreement has been welcomed by the board of The Building Centre Ltd. The Building Centre Bookshop will continue to be located in its existing location within the Centre.
