The Building Centre welcomes Timber Trade Federation

The TTF represents the wood and wood products industry and its mission is to the Grow the Use of Wood. As TTF Chief Executive, John White, explains.

Wood is naturally renewable and trees absorb, and wood stores, carbon. We are therefore poised to grow significantly as more and more construction companies embed good environmental performance into their business ethos.

Moving to the Building Centre is a natural and very welcome move for the TTF, placing us right at the heart of construction and building design thinking. We hope that our presence will not only enhance the breadth of the Building Centre offer but will also help us get the messages we need to get across to our largest customer sector.

The TTF currently has just over 160 members covering importers of wood and wood products to builders merchants and forest owners around the globe. It is also a member of current Building Centre tenant the Construction Products Association.
