The Building Centre exists to promote innovation in the built environment. First established in 1931, the organisation has since developed to become a not-for-profit dedicated to providing education, information and inspiration to all sectors of the built environment as well as the general public. Our building on South Crescent, Store Street, in central London, is open to all involved in architecture and construction; it is a place where you can learn and develop knowledge and join the ongoing debate about the built environment.

We work with many leading organisations, individuals and companies connected with environmental issues and building. We are delighted to say that several choose to make their home in our building. Exhibitions and talks at The Building Centre, typically undertaken with expert partners, have often stimulated wider discussion of key issues.

The Building Centre Trust is a registered charity 312835 under UK law. It operates in part through a wholly-owned company, The Building Centre, with all activities and proceeds dedicated to  helping deliver our educational remit to enhance knowledge and practice around developing the built environment.
